We recently received a request from a local baseball team based in Edinburgh, who, with the help from local businesses, community volunteers, and the support of Edinburgh City Council, are building their very own dedicated baseball field — a first for the city!

Luke from the team got in touch with us in a bit of a panic, urgently needing unfired clay bricks — not exactly something you can pick up at your average builders’ merchant.

As the only brickworks left in Scotland, we were more than happy to help and delighted to play a small part in supporting this fantastic community project.

A spokesperson for Edinburgh Rays Baseball Club said: “We would like to say a massive thank you to Raeburn Brick Limited for making the impossible happen! It was great meeting you all — and the banter was top class! Thank you, folks!”
