A highly sustainable choice
Clay bricks are a natural material. They are durable, resist weathering and maintain their structural integrity over time. Clay bricks have thermal properties, which makes them more energy efficient than alternative materials. They are also recyclable at the end of their life cycle.
Locally Sourced
The majority of our clay comes from our own quarry, just 7 miles from our factory. Using locally sourced materials means we can minimise our fuel usage and carbon footprint, while also supporting local infrastructure.
Quarry Reinstatement
After mining the clay, our quarries are restored to former use. The site is infilled with inert material i.e. soil and stones from local construction projects and reconditioned to its former natural state.
